The Cutest At-Home Rock Star Disco Birthday Party
I almost forgot to post this cute Rock Star Disco Birthday Party that we had for Chloe’s 9th Birthday last December! All the holiday rush got in the way, and I never ended up posting it! But it is too cute NOT to post, so better late than never. We had such a fun time at this fun easy birthday party, and the girls are at the perfect age to dress like rock stars and get up in front of each other and dance, dance, dance! Chloe wanted to spend the evening with her best girlfriends and play Just Dance and have a dance party in our basement. So I knew disco balls were a definite must at this birthday Rock Star disco party. We already owned a disco ball boom box karaoke machine and multiple Just Dance video games. So, we were set on entertainment. Girls, especially at this age, just want to laugh and giggle and be silly together.
For the decorations, it was all about iridescent and metallic, and lots of it! And did I already mention…disco balls?! Thankfully I snatched the balloon arch from my friend who made it for another party. So, good to keep it going for a few days! I added a few of metallic balloon and that saved me a ton of time. I found the 80s retro boom box mini pinatas, and knew we needed to add this to the table decorations. We filled it mostly with cute girly stuff like nail polish, nail stickers and lollipop. The disco ball drink holder was a huge hit! The girls were obsessed and loved taking home their very own! All the party resources below:
