Apple Cider Vinegar Juice

If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you know I’m a huge fan of raw apple cider vinegar (RACV).  I take a RACV tonic shot every morning to keep my immune system strong and my day on a healthy path.  While I was visiting my parents a couple weeks ago, my mom would make me this apple cider vinegar juice every morning that also has raw honey, lemon juice and cinnamon.  It was so good that I’m now replacing my RACV tonic shot for the raw apple cider vinegar juice.  The apple cider vinegar juice is just so good with added health benefits than just RACV alone.  My mom found the recipe somewhere online, so I’m not sure where the correct source comes from of the original recipe (if you know, please let me know).  But here are just a few of the health benefits to why you should start your day with these foods:

Raw apple cider vinegar (make sure it is raw)– Organic raw apple cider vinegar contains powerful enzymes that balances and promotes digestion.  It helps with acid reflux and balances the body’s pH levels.  Raw apple cider vinegar is known to help the body control and normalize body weight by facilitating the absorption of calcium and regulating the metabolism.

Lemon Juice (make sure it comes from the fruit, not a bottle)– Lemons stimulate bile flow and increase the digestibility of food and nutrients .  It also helps in the digestion process.  Lemon juice kills harmful viruses and contact and builds the immune system.

Raw Honey (buy local, raw honey)– It’s mostly used to sweeten the drink but when honey is mixed with lemon juice it increases energy.  Raw honey has a high nutritional value and is an alkaline food.

Cinnamon– Cinnamon has many health benefits like regulating blood sugar levels and has a high concentration of antioxidants.  Also it has antibacterial properties.

Start your morning off with Apple Cider Vinegar Juice to give you a boost to your metabolism and energy.  Apple Cider Vinegar Juice is the road to increasing your daily health.

Apple Cider Vinegar Juice

2 cups of water

2 tablespoons raw organic apple cider vinegar juice

1 tablespoon raw organic honey

1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice

1 tsp cinnamon

Blend it all together for a even consistency.  Drink and enjoy!

Tips to Staying Healthy During the Winter

staying healthy in the winter coconut oil staying healthy in the winter foods from kitchen staying healthy in the winter lemon

Tips to Staying Healthy During Winter: I am over at How Does She sharing tips on how to stay healthy during the winter. These are tips that come from basic food items that can be found in your kitchen or at your local grocery store. All natural items that have health and prevention benefits. If you know me I have a love for natural healing and have seen the how much it has blessed our house. Not to say we don’t get sick, but we when we are following these tips we don’t get sick as often…or for as long.

Traditional healthcare is still one of our priorities though. Although it can be more difficult to think about leaving your house during the winter, it is still incredibly important to stay on top of all your healthcare appointments. For example, you cannot let the cold stop you from visiting your Dentist in fairfax or wherever in the world you might be. Looking after your teeth is crucial as neglecting your oral hygiene can have a negative impact on your wider health. The wintertime can often aggravate sensitive teeth, so remember to speak to your dentist if you notice any signs of toothache or gum disease as you might be entitled to some form of pain relief.

One natural remedy that has made the headlines recently is kratom. Kratom is a plant extract that people use to treat a wide variety of health complaints. In addition to depression and anxiety, people are using kratom to treat pain, muscle aches, fatigue, and high blood pressure. As with any natural remedy, if you are contemplating using kratom as part of your health toolkit, remember to do some research into the potential health boosting benefits of red vein bali kratom on sites such as thegoldenmonk.com. Knowing as much as you can about natural remedies is crucial when it comes to finding what might work for you.

So, come check out my thoughts and try a few of the tips!
