My little Stella has declared to her Mommy and Daddy (along with many other people) that we are going to have a girl and will be naming her Lulu. Why a girl? Because she has never had a sister before. Even in preschool when she draws her family, she includes a third child. And it’s a girl. Thankgoodness she doesn’t draw her Mommy with a big belly. She is very excited for her “sister” to come and frequently asks me when “she” is ready to come out. Hope I don’t disappoint her. Now if you ask Lucas what we are having–he’ll tell you we are having a monster truck.

She sounds just like Miss Maya – who is still learning to adapt to the fact that she is, in fact, going to have another brother.
So now we talk about how great it is for us to just be the girls!
Stella is growing up so fast. I’m kinda on Stella’s side. I’ve been rooting for a girl. Lulu, short for Louise, would be just fine. I think that name is actually a family name.
I love the monster truck idea. I bet that is how you are feeling right now. You’re carrying a big monster truck. I bet Stella is right. A little sister is coming!
Why not compromise and have a monster truck named lulu?

Faith was the only one who was right about Ivy. Hmmmm. Lulu? What a cutie! I CAN’T WAIT TO HEAR WHEN THE BABY COMES!!!
