Meet Darleen
Darleen was raised a West Coast girl, then turned New Yorker after college, with a seven-year stint of living as a southern belle. She started Darling Darleen in 2007 after working in the fashion industry with a large New York City-fashion company to keep her creative avenues open while starting life as a mother. Over time her blog began to grow and build a dedicated following. She did a major redesign in 2014 and has focused on building her brand as a top lifestyle website focused on DIY tutorials, home décor, fashion, motherhood and entertaining tips.
In addition to her blog, she is owner of Darleen Meier Jewelry, where you can find her jewelry designs and special curated items. Along with being a contributing writer for HowDoesShe for many years, her work has been featured across many online platforms and magazines. Darleen is also an active licensed Connecticut real estate agent and occasionally covers real estate topics. You can visit her real estate website.
Darleen lives in a small beach town in Connecticut, right outside New York City with her husband, four children (Stella, Lucas, Jackson and Chloe) and her white Labrador name Scout.
