Bad news for those who have blogs on Blogger and are planning to make their blog into a book–Blurb no longer supports slurping Blogger. Over the holiday break I was determine to catch up and finally get my blog archives into a book. I was excited to test out Blurb’s slurping action, but it all came to a halt when I came to the part that Blurb is not compatible with Blogger anymore. Total bummer! Read about it here. So, this means it’s copy and paste unless there is some other blog to book company. I’d suggest to start this year’s book now and add to it every month.

I know! I was so mad to find this out. I was really wanting something done in time for Christmas. I’m disappointed in Google for not working something out with blurb or other 3rd parties. That was one of the huge reasons I went with blogger.:(

I created a new account on livejournal.com then I went to this link that converts my blog to livejournal for free. AND it doesn’t ruin your blog so you can keep your blog going and use livejournal to create a book. I just did it and it was simple.

You have to first create an account on livejournal in order to convert.
I also coverted my blog to livejournal but it only slurped up 20 posts and none of my archives. I don’t know what to do to make it slurp up more posts.
I read somewhere that it might do that. Google it and see what it says. It slurped up all 166 posts.
