Staycation

One of my favorite week in the year is the one right between Christmas and New Years.  The kids are off of school and the hubby takes the week off and we make it a staycation every year.  Why go anywhere when we live close to one of the greatest city?  We go and play in NYC almost everyday.  It’s a madhouse and many people are there for New Years but it’s so much fun and the feeling of holiday is still in the air.  We head to all the museums, play in Central Park, stop by our favorite cupcake shop and take at least one cab ride and subway ride (the kids love that stuff).  Here are a few pictures from my iphone–i had some more pictures but they are lost on my computer.
