I love interior designer Ruthie Sommers. She is my ultimate favorite. I get so inspired by her. She uses color but doesn’t over do it and mixes classic with glamour. If I had a large house and lots of money, I would hunt her down and hire her. She has a book coming out this fall called The L.A. House. Her house is featured in Instyle Home and she is one of Domino’s favorite.
Last weekend I went to SoHo to meet up with my fabulous friend Heidi, who has a great eye for design and works for one of NYC’s #1 interior designer. Anyway, we headed over to Purl Soho to buy some fabric so I could make some pillows to update an old chair. Thank goodness Heidi was there! So many fabrics I liked! It was fun to see what fabrics I started out with but actually ended up buying.
Babystyle has some really cute baby shoes, especially for little boys which are so hard to find.
This is for the “Moms on the go” with babies who drink formula. I guess this bottle has been around for the last 10 years, but I just discovered it and am now on the hunt to find it! The travel bottle has a two-chamber design that stores the formula separate from the water. So when you are ready to feed your baby all you have to do is straighten the bottle and the formula mixes into the water. This is great–no more having to carry separate containers and formula spillage.
I just got my catalog for Mini Boden. I love how all their children’s clothes are fun, bright and cute. Prices are a little higher than Gap and Old Navy. But all the styles are so darling. I guess I’ve got to wait until sale. They also have a small number of styles that come in 6-12 months.
Stella was my little model for DMJ‘s April email blast. Here’s a few pics from the cutting room.
