My girlfriend told me about Zara kids. I’ve heard of Zara–actually there’s one down the street from me. But it was just one of those stores I would always by pass and never go in. Now, I’m in love with it, especially their children’s clothing. European urban styles + H&M pricing = a mama shopping like crazy. Very cute. Actually Stella’s plaid Thanksgiving dress is from Zara.
I’m busy working on jewelry. I hoping some of the new pieces will be up before the week ends. I’m excited because there is a Cheap and Chic collection–all under $25. And they are all fabulous and still made with quality material.
In the meantime, bridal custom orders are now available on my website! When I mean custom, it starts with pad and pencil. Brainstorming, design sketches, material shopping, samples, final product. This is great for the bride who wants full control OR wants unison pieces from bride to bridemaids to flower girl OR the bride wants to match an heirloom piece. Click here for more information.
Drove this car while I was in Vegas. Now I want to buy one.
Bedside tables perfect for a guest room.
A really good vintage shop in Las Vegas is The Attic. I use to shop there all the time back in the day…and before the store became famous and now charges an entrance fee. Ridiculous! But the clothes and furniture are pretty awesome.
It’s Fashion Week, and they did a special tribute to Barbie since she turned 50 years old this year. The runaway show had Barbie-inspired clothing and models. Can’t believe she is still going strong. Must be all that botox.
You wanna get some pointers on European fashion sense? I’ve bookmarked the English version of Garance Dore.
Remember this wedding I posted about a few days ago? Well, I had to share some of the pictures because the special event came out so beautiful, and I love all the little country-style details that went into it. Sarah wore cowboy boots under her tulle-tiered dress. The wedding party arrived in a horse carriage. All the guests received a jar of local Idaho honey. Homemade pies adorn the dessert bar. Invitations, menu and thank you notes were printed on recycled paper. And everything was done with an environmentally-conscious mind. I had the honor of designing all the jewelry for the bride and bridemaids. And is Sarah not one hot bride? Seriously I could marry her myself.
