As I was shopping for Stella and Lucas’s Easter outfits, I saw this really cute smocked plaid dress at Gymboree and had to buy it for my little girl. It has gold metallic thread woven in the plaid fabric. I went against my principle of only buying children’s clothes at sale or discounted prices. It set me back about $32.00.

Hey, the dress is part of the Island getaway collection and is now on sale for $25.99. This is perhaps one of the cutest collections they have had in a long time and I have personally bought quite a few pieces for all my girls. I really adore that plaid print. Good purchase Darleen. I bet it is so darn cute on Stella.

I looked at that dress last time I popped into Gymboree and agree that it’s totally adorable. I don’t do too much shopping at Gymbo anymore, but did HAVE to buy Maya the adorable red swimsuit with flowers up one side, and the matching grass skirt. She LOVES it and it looks so cute on her.
