For the 4th, we decided to travel up to the Boston area to celebrate with my cousin Shayna and her family. After all, I used to celebrate the 4th for many years with Shayna when we were children. Good memories. Anyway, we spent the glorious day at Good Harbor Beach in Gloucester. This beach is our favorite, and we are sad we can’t go every weekend. The actual beach area is pretty wide during low tide with white sand so many people play frisbee, soccor, baseball, volleyball. There is also a little stream that connects to the ocean, so it’s a fun area to explore with fish, crabs, rocks. The water was pretty cold, but that didn’t stop the kids from jumping into the waves and rolling around in the water. After the beach we travel down to Quincy to catch the remains of a barbecue held by distant relatives of Seth’s.

Stella’s hair is getting so long! Is she losing her curls? She looks like she’s having a lot of fun in the sand.
