Happy 4th of July!

I’m a little late wishing you the best, but I hope you all had a wonderful day! We just got back celebrating in Boston and had such a marvelous time. After a day at the beach, we drove through Rockport, and the little beach town was so patriotic! Almost all the homes had either a flag or banner out. Flower pots with patriotic colors (similar to the one below) sat on porches. Chairs lined up on the streets for the town’s parade. Frontyard picnics. Tourists enjoying all the little shops–I wanted to stop to get some homemade taffy at the candy shop. It was a great place that I hope to visit again.
