Next stop when I’m in the city–Billy’s Bakery. I’ve heard too much ranting and raving, and I’ve even heard their cupcakes are better than Magnolia. That’s a hard one to achieve. Anyway, I found the recipe for Billy’s Vanilla, Vanilla Cupcakes with Vanilla Buttercream on this site. They are supposedly to “die for”. Perhaps, I will use this recipe for Stella’s upcoming birthday.

Darleen! I can’t beleive I haven’t taken you there when you’ve been in the city. Yes their cupcakes are better than Magnolia’s. The guy that started it is an ex-Magnolia employee. Plan to eat a few and then take more home for later. MMMM
