I’m glad to hear that the Domino Decorating Winner actually did all the decorating on her own and didn’t hire a designer. This room looks fabulous! The owner painted and stenciled the door panels and her bed, completely renovated the vanity and made and painted silk organza curtains. I guess too much paint can’t do too much harm.

that is really beautiful! i started boycotting domino after the issue where the designers said “no family photos in public places”, among other things that really put me off. but there’s great stuff in the magazine, too, so i’m always happy to get the highlights from you!
haha. I was about to start typing I boycotted Domino after the issue that said no family photos, and then I read Natalie’s comment. I guess I still said it too. That room is quite lovely. Not my style, but it is beautiful.
Thank you for your kind comments about my room. Although the Domino people picked me as a finalist, I go out on a limb here when I say Domino is NOT what it use to be. Too much highend stuff/designers etc. What happened to the original Domino.
