It was a success this year, and I’m happy to say it’s over. I’ve had my overload of chocolates for sure. And if Stella doesn’t eat up all her little candy bars, I’ll have to send them with Seth to work before they end up in my mouth. The kids helped me hand out candy as they waited for Daddy to return from work. By 7 p.m. the candy was practically gone. I can’t believe how many kids (both young and old–yes, we got many high schoolers!) came trick or treating. Not only that, I wanted to be outside socializing with my neighbors then handing out candy. My street was having a neighborhood party. One of my neighbors had a huge fire going on in their front yard with a table full of food and music. After the kids trick or treated with Daddy, we headed over to a friend‘s house for a little Halloween party. I was so impressed with all her spooky food–a ghost “boo-tiful” cake, owl cookies, caramel apples, hot articoke dip. And they were all spooky-licious!

I love that your kids look like they are saying, “Can we GO yet?”
And I love that she used small white pumpkins to label all the food items. Clever.
It looks like a lot of fun, and I couldn’t agree more… I’m glad it’s over too.
