My friend Becca sent me this picture of me when she came to visit this summer. I couldn’t help but share. In this picture I’m eating for the first time raw quail egg sushi. Becca, who was the first person to introduce sushi to me in 7th grade, convinced me to try one of her pieces (this was after she described it to me as “slithers down your throat”.) So I tried it with a little bit of disguise. She is a very persuasive person.
