Hello 2008! To start off the year, I celebrated with my honey. We headed down to the city in chance of getting somewhat close to the ball, which was quite difficult since most of the roads were blocked off. But we didn’t care, most of the people down there were quite abnoxious. Then we went to a Velvet Revolver concert (yes, my ears are still ringing). The concert was Seth’s choice–I was a little hesitant, but it was actually a really good show and I was glad to hear some old Guns ‘n Roses and Stone Temple Pilot songs. We had so much fun; however we didn’t get home until 3:30 a.m. Thank you sitters! (pictures below: as close as we could get to Time Square and in the Hammerstein concert hall)
Happy New Year!

Sounds like fun, you party animals!
i love that you take advantage of your proximity to the city and party it up! chris asked me when we were watching it on tv if i ever wanted to go. that would be a big NO! it looks SO crazy. chris would have loved the velvet revolver concert – especially gNr tunes!
Looks like a blast — how fun that you guys got out and did that.
Hey, I love the colors and progress so far on the new blog look. Glad you were able to get out and have some fun. It’s been a few years since anyone in our camp did the NYC/Times Square New Years….
Something about going in with little kids (then) at 2 PM to have a good spot by midnight… just is not so appealing when you have no idea where the closest bathroom is… lol
how fun is that? as we were here in good old spanish fork watching the ball drop in NYC, i was telling matt that someday we need to go there for new years eve. what fun! oh – and i love the new look of your blog!
Darleen, you look adorable and way to party it up in NYC for New Years! That’s what I’m talking about! We would have loved to be in the Big Apple for New years. 🙂
Happy New Year! What a great way to ring in the New Year. Maybe next year we’ll ditch the kids and party!
You guys look fab! missed ya!
