Every year we enjoy going to see the train show at the NY Botanical Gardens. They set it up pretty much the same every year but it’s still very impressive and the children really enjoy it–so much that we actually have to pry them out (Lucas). The exhibit is all minature wooden pieces that are replicated to look like some of Manhattan’s buildings (i.e. Rockefeller Center, Empire State building, Yankee Stadium, Statue of Liberty, St. Patrick’s Cathedral) with toy trains that zoom around them. What’s always a kodak moment is seeing a line of children kneeling down waiting for the train to come by.
