I LOVE that idea!!! I think it’s so much more fun if everything doesn’t match exactly.
It does look fun. I’ve seen it done with different chairs and have always liked the idea. This way you could still keep some uniformity.
I was in a home not long ago where they had done this and I was surprised because I liked it a lot. Usually I’m a little too conventional but it looked great.
