While on my search of fabric for my room, I discovered another great designer, Joel Dewberry–okay I’m probably the last to discover him. But I do like his style and have found a few patterns that I might want to incorporate. The closest fabric store to me that carries his line is Purl. Before I head over there, I want to be really prepared and know exactly what fabrics I’m looking for because the last time I was there I became very overwhelmed with too many options.

I have been really into diaper bags and made one with the fabric in that front basket…i’ll try to post it! What you need to do is find a dress that you like. You can either go to something like simplicity or McCalls, butterick or vogue websites and choose a pattern. Just let me know the number. Or find a dress you like and I will do my own pattern. Try to match. Then I will let you know what type of fabric you should get and how much. Won’t take me long to make. Just have to finish a few dresses I am working on right now, for Easter and a wedding! Let me know what you find!
