This summer I’ve had to watch as a few of my close friends have moved and are going to move away. I am so….BLAAA…sad. It’s hard when friends start to become family and then they move away, especially when your kids get attached to their kids. My good friend Carmen moved yesterday. She has helped me out in so many ways and has been my “go-to” person. Before she left, she gave me a little treasure to hold on to. She recovered my favorite book in a beautiful paper print with page marker and closure strings. There are so many details–I love it! And I like that it’s small so I can carry it everywhere I go. You might remember a book she made for a baby shower I did last summer.
