This Thanksgiving was much different from past years. One obvious difference was the birth of Jackson just a few days before. And we also got to spend the holiday with Seth’s parents and brother, who came out to lend a helping hand while I was in the hospital. I’m so glad I did not have to host Thanksgiving this year, but instead got to just show up for food at our friends Lindsey and Jason‘s house. Everything was decorated so lovely and the food was marvelous! Okay, okay so I did get together a few tradition dishes like Mom’s orange rolls and Steph’s candid yams–but not without the help of Heidi and Katie (thanks girls!).

We enjoyed the day and all the time we were able to spend with you and Seth and the kids. Thanks to Lindsay and Jason for hosting the feast, and to Katie and Heidi for developing their cookies skills for our benefit. Everything was delicious, and the company was beyond compare!

What a sweet table scape! Just perfect, tasteful, and simple – but not too simple! Off to read more – you’ve peaked my interest!
