Because I’m chasing after three little kids, I often get sidetracked and fall out of what is happening in fashion. After all, I used to work in the fashion industry and had to stay up on all the trends and new fashion lines. Well, I’m probably the last to learn about J.Crew’s little sister company, Madewell. The grand opening for their Greenwich store is today. I hear their jeans are pretty cute.

Oh, I hope they’re cheaper than JCrew. Love their clothes, hate the prices.
I went to the store yesterday! I was slightly let down – I was expecting more of J.Crew style but with cheaper prices. I would compare the Madewell style more like Bohemian/Grunge – kind of like Urban Outfitters, or American Eagle. And the prices weren’t as low as I had hoped (but I had high hopes). But, there were still a few things that caught my eye! It’s worth a look.
