Part of the agenda for this past weekend was head to the orchards and pick apples and get the last crop of pears. It was a lovely day and a lot of people were out picking, but the orchards are very spread out that there were plenty of fruit to go around. The corn and sunflower mazes were out and pumpkins too. Fall is in the air. Now I’m just wondering what I’m going to do with all these pears. Pearsauce? Pear pie? Pear muffin? Can I freeze them? Not sure.
