Bought a couple of these $10 wooden chairs from the local thrift store to fill a few random, empty spots in my house. Spray painted them white and added new fabric. Cheap and chic. Simple as that.

"Simple as that" – Gah! Will you please someday teach me how to cover a chair with fabric then?? That looks horribly difficult to me…
Staple gun is the key. Unscrew the pad from the chair. Rip off the old fabric. Measure out your new fabric to cover the pad. Then staple the fabric to the pad with your staple gun. Screw back on the pad to chair. That's it.
