Halloween for us started Friday and lasted the entire weekend with numerous festivities. I was quite burnt out when Sunday rolled around, but was glad the kids got good use out of their costumes.
Stella won a costume award at her school Halloween party. She was so excited that she hung her award ribbon on her shelf of dance trophies. Lucas was a superhero version of himself. Remember his superhero birthday party? Well, the cape is from his party. He likes to don his cape around bedtime and especially after bathtime when he is just wearing his underwear. The superhero in him takes over. And Jackson was a lion. It was a costume that Lucas wore a couple years back. Jackson refused to wear the hoodie or let me paint his face, so the hair was all I could do.
We had a Halloween party to go to this year, so costumes were mandatory. I threw my costume together at the last minute. I had no luck in finding a cheerleader costume large enough to fit a 9-month pregnant belly so the random ensemble had to do. We had a good time!

The "naughty" football player cracks me up! You look gorgeous. Stella deserved an award, WOW!! I love that Lucas is embracing his inner superhero. (I think we all have one.) Jackson is the CUTEST fierce lion ever.
Seriously, that little red riding hood costume is awesome, I can't believe you made that yourself. And that Stella, such a cutie. All of the costumes are great.
