I’m excited to finally get around to posting Lucas’s birthday party. We had such a great time. He is really into legos right now so I was happy when he told me he wanted to have a lego party. A couple of years ago I bookmarked this lego party and used it as my launching pad for Lucas’s birthday.
I was really limited on time because his party was the day after school got out, and I started planning two weeks prior. So I keep his invitations simple and they were easy to make. I designed the card with lego blocks and party info printed on white paper. I configured the digital lego blocks to make the number five on one side of the card. On the opposite side of the card, I punched out four 1.5″ diameter circles and attached to the orange card with double-sided foam circle stickers to create a 3-D effect. The lego blocks were used throughout the party for the food labels, mailing and party favors.
It was good to see that the kids immediately knew it was a lego party from just looking at the card.
