College Must-Have Essentials: The Ultimate Guide for Incoming Students
After dropping off two kids to college, this has been a much needed post. I’ve been wanting to put a post together for college essential items, but kept putting it off. Heading off to college is an exciting time filled with new experiences, challenges, and opportunities. Whether you’re moving into a dorm or an off-campus apartment, having the right essentials can make your college life easier, more comfortable, and productive. To help you prepare, I’ve put together a list of college dorm must-have essentials that every college student should consider packing. From study tools to dorm room comforts, this guide covers all the bases. One thing to consider when shopping, is putting together your list before arriving. This will save a ton of time and headache from going store to store. Most big box stores in college towns are picked over and many dorm items are sold out. What I did was ship all the items to a family member’s home. Or you can ship items directly to the store for store pick up, or if you order on Amazon, you could ship to an Amazon locker that is close to the college town.
