Have I mentioned how much we like going to the beach? Our summer goal this year was to go at least 2-3 times a week. I must say we’ve been pretty good at it. Oh how I’m going to miss summer. I’m sad that it’s already getting dark at 8 p.m.

I finally made thank you notes for Lucas’s second birthday party; and those of you who attended our thanks are in the mail. Since it was coming from a little toddler, I liked the fill-in-the-blank idea. I was able to put more thought into why he enjoys the gift so much.
