I like to pick…my face. I know. It’s kind of gross. But I find a joy in picking my black heads and white heads. It’s such a great feeling conquering them. I’m an adult now and I should not be breaking out…but I do. My dermatologist tells me it’s a bad habit, and I need to quit it. Although the last time I got a facial done, the lady said I need to come in once a month to get the deep-cleansing facials a.k.a. the facial where they pick my black heads. So, now I’m confused. I think I’ll just go ahead and keep picking. Or maybe I need to start using Proactive. Does that stuff really work?? Oh, oh! I can get my picking satisfaction from picking other people’s faces. That’s so fun. I often corner my husband and go to work…that is on his face.

Funny, I too like to pick mostly because it stems from being a cosmetologist and we got training on that but there is also a sense of clean satisfaction afterwards. I think that may be what you are feeling.

Gross!!! I don’t break out anymore. Maybe it is because of my age and how I eat. I did have a facial last year and the lady who did it said that using a scrub 3x’s a week is good for the pores. I have been doing this and it leaves my skin soft. I also put lots of moisturizer on at night because of the wrinkles. This seems to help. Washing your face morning and night helps keep it clean also. Hope these ideas help.
I hate black heads they are so gross and visiable, I wish mine would go away forever. I’ve heard that Proactive is the best and really works, my sister-in-laws use it and their faces are always so clear.
I love to pick at other people’s skin. I have been doing it to my brothers since we were teens and I still do it when we get together. I do my husband’s as well but he has no pain tolerance 😉 He says I have a thing for hurting him… ha ha ha
